

Chia seeds can be added to many different foods because it imparts no flavour to what you add it to. The most typical way is to add a tablespoon, 10 to 15 grams to a glass of water or juice in the morning, stir well and wait 10 to 15 minutes and drink. The same amount of seed can be added to a 500ml (16oz) bottle of water or juice then shake well and take with you.
Make a gel to mix with yoghurts, milkshakes, fruit smoothies, jams, jellies etc....even to replace oils in baking.
For gel mix one part seed to nine parts water and mix well with a whisk, let stand for 10 minutes and mix again then place in airtight container and store in fridge for up to 3 weeks.
Add seeds to your homemade bread for OMEGA 3 bread or to muffins. Mix gel in with pancake batter for healthy pancakes.
Sprinkle in your cereal or oatmeal in the morning or salad in the afternoon. Bake it in cookies, pizza dough just about anything goes well with chia making whatever you put it in healthy.
